Privacy
Bloomalizer sets no cookies, uses no advertising or tracking scripts, and asks for no account. Your audio is analysed on your own device. There is exactly one case where anything leaves your machine, and it is described below.
Audio
When you choose TAB or MIC, the browser gives the page an audio stream. That stream is analysed locally, frame by frame, to drive the visuals. It is never recorded, never stored, and never uploaded.
The exception is TRACK ID. It is off by default. When you switch it on, Bloomalizer records an 8-second clip of what it is currently hearing and sends it to a third-party music-recognition service to identify the song — immediately, and then every three minutes while audio is playing. If your source is MIC, that clip is a recording of your physical surroundings, which may include speech. Switch TRACK ID off and no clip is ever sent.
What is stored on your device
Two values, in your browser's local storage:
- the position of the energy slider
- whether TRACK ID is on or off
Neither is an identifier and neither is sent anywhere — they exist so the app looks the same when you come back. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Cookies
None. Bloomalizer sets no cookies at all, which is why you are not being asked to dismiss a consent banner.
Analytics
Aggregate page views are measured with Vercel Web Analytics. It is cookieless and does not build a profile of you: identifiers are hashed on your device and no cross-site tracking takes place.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request data such as your IP address in order to serve pages, as any web host does.
